During this section of the assignment there was a task established in which groups of students were formed to perform a short stop motion picture sequence using some anatomical models provided during the session. Due to personal circumstances the author was unable to attend the first session of this, however was able to make up the assignment through a future session. During this the author and one other student proceeded to develop an idea and choreograph and shoot the stop motion footage which is provided to be discussed in a post analytical reflection. During the animation the subject was that of two stick figures, one issuing a silent command as the other aims to surrender. The first stick figure commands two giant hands to pursue the target and the camera follows a chase scene of this resolution.
During this task the development of the idea became the first port of call. As an intended quick task this began as a brainstorming session of a few ideas and the practicality of them. Once there was a discussion and agreement on the footage subject the division of the workload came a priority. The author would be in charge of the animation adjustments with the other student controlling the camera and directing the scene, a streamlined and easy process followed as the scene was navigated and the footage was shot and taken and processed into a stop motion animation.
